December 7 - From the German company H.F.&Ph.F. Reemtsma GmbH is a new importan-brand available in Austria - the brand Peter Stuyvesant Lights (4030 5028) with 6 mg tar/0,5 mg nicotine.
November 9 - A new import brand from Philip Morris GmbH Germany is now available in Austria. Philip Morris Super Lights American Blend 100 (8724 8944) with 4 mg tar/0,4 mg nicotine is on selling list.
October 12 - There is now a third kind of Pall Mall from British-American Tobacco available here in Austria. Pall Mall Ultra Lights (4031 8394) is now also selling and it has 4 mg tar/0,4 mg nicotine.
September 15 - L & M Filter (8724 8784) is again selling in Austria. It has 12 mg tar/0,9 mg nicotine.
September 1 - A new kind of Ronson is now available: Ronson American Blend (9022 8230) is a production of Austria Tabak and the cigarettes have 10 mg tar/0,7 mg nicotine.
August 1 - The selling of Camel Extra Lights (4033 1379) is stopped and instead the Camel Super Lights (4032 9932) with the same design is out now. Tar and nicotine is still the same 4 mg/0,3 mg.
July 15 - R.J. Reynolds (Germany) made a new type of Camel which will be sold from 15th July here in Austria. The Camel Full Flavor (4033 1140) has 10 mg tar/0,7 mg nicotine.
In the last months a lot of brands have less tar and/or nicotine - so there are new tar/nicotine scripts on the pack.. As much as I know - these are the news dates of the packs:
Dunhill International has changed tar to 12 mg and nicotine to 1,1 mg.
Flirt (no filter) has changed tar to 12 mg and nicotine to 0,7 mg.
Gauloises (no filter) has changed tar to 12 mg and nicotine to 0,8 mg.
Gauloises Blondes has changed tar to 12 mg.
HB 100 has changed tar to 12 mg and nicotine to 0,9 mg.
HB Lights (blue) has changed again the nicotine back to 0,5 mg.
Jonny (no filter) has changed tar to 12 mg and nicotine to 0,8 mg.
Kim Superlights has changed nicotine to 0,3 mg.
Marlboro Filter has changed tar to 12 mg.
Memphis International 100 has changed tar to 12 mg and nicotine to 0,8 mg.
Rothmans KS has changed tar to 12 mg and nicotine to 0,9 mg.
Smart Export has changed nicotine to 0,7 mg.
Trend Filter has changed nicotine up to 0,3 mg.
June 8 - There exists now two new types of Marlboro in Austria. The Marlboro Menthol (8724 8111) with 12 mg tar/0,9 mg nicotine and the Marlboro Menthol Lights (8724 8401) with 6 mg tar/0,5 mg nicotine are out now.
June - The license brand Lord Extra isn't still any longer made in Austria under license - it is an import brand now. The company now is Forhtams Services BV and the bar-code is 4066 9014.
April 27 - From Philip Morris Products Inc. is the new pack Basic American Blend Full Flavor (4023 5103) which is a brandnew here in Austria. The tar is 12 mg and nicotine is 0,9 mg.
March 30 - There is out a new kind of PARISIENNE from F.J. Burrus S.A. - it's called Parisienne Extra (7613 6504) which nearly looks like the existing Parisienne Mild. It has tar 4mg and nicotine 0,4 mg.
There also came out a new kind of the Italian MS. Now there is also available a MS Mild (8025 3167) with tar 9 mg and 0,8 mg nicotine. From Villiger Sons is the new St. Louis Queen Filter (4069 4672) which is called as "Small Cigars" and which is sold here as Cigarillos. It is with pipe tobacco!
The German HB Lights (4031 3931) got a new design. The tar is now 6 mg (before it was 5 mg).
April 8 - The Australian Brand WINFIELD is released in Austria. There exists now the Winfield Full Flavour (8729 5993) with 12 mg tar and 0,9 mg nicotine and Winfield Lights (8729 6013) with 6 mg tar and 0,6 mg nicotine.
March 15 - The Reyno Lights (4032 9437) with 6 mg tar and 0,4 mg nicotine are completly new in Austria - maybe the production Reyno will be stopped soon.
January 5 - The Memphis Blue Lights exists also in 100 mm with 9 mg tar and 0,6 mg nicotine (9022 8650) and there is released a new brand called ROUTE 66. It is from the company I.T.L. and there exists Route 66 Filter (5043 5197) with 12 mg tar and 1,0 mg nicotine and Route 66 Lights (5041 5779) with 6 mg tar and 0,5 mg nicotine
